Taide tietämisen tapana – Art as Knowing

Today, we had a publication feast in the form of a webinar exploring dialogues between art and research. For my part, this article has been in the making for many years. What I appreciate most of all is that I get to gather all the contributions that were created by the artists and researchers who took part in the Avtryck i det Okända – Forcing the Impossible project. This includes creating an archive for the work created by: Jan-Erik Andersson, Frank Berger, Teemu Kyytinen, Ulf Långbacka, Teemu Maastovaara, Marjan Raar, Antonia Ringbom, Ru Runeberg, and Jan Kenneth Weckman.

Another aspect of this publication is that it truly brings together multimedia productions as well as many important approaches to how art can function as research publications, not only producing knowledge.
