Ateneum Late -sparrows & mystics

Composer, author, and documentary film-maker Lotta Petronella has been working on a performance piece incorporating medieval female mystics, beguines and writers like Christina Mirabilis and Marguerite Porete and current day ecological themes. In this collaboration Laura Hellsten has been teaching and practising St. Dominic’s nine prayer movements with the team.

As part of the Late Night in Ateneum during the exhibition Arcana Borealis – pohjoisen naiset ja esoteerisuus we will perform sparrows & mystics.
