Ochre of the Worlds

21.05.2026 kl. 19.00—21.00

Aðalstræti 7, 400 Ísafjörður, Iceland

Organisatör: Edinborgarhúsið

Screening of Ochre of the worlds, a contemplative gaze toward the Amazonian landscape, where river, forest and light unfold in slow duration. Human presence emerges intermittently, through voice, gesture and word, coexisting with other forms of life.

Images reveal animals as fleeting presences, unfolding a world that exists beyond direct human perception. The film proposes a space where voice, landscape and living beings intertwine, inviting a perception that moves between observation and listening.
Duration: 25 minutes.

Light refreshments complimentary of ArtsIceland.

After the screening, there will be a Q&A with the filmmaker, moderated by artistic researcher Eduardo Abrantes and theologian and dancer Laura Hellsten
